iPad For Teachers    I recently met a college teacher in our place. Conversation started up because I saw that he is also an iPad user and we got into a conversation about the iPad. Amidst the conversation, he asked if I knew some apps for the iPad which could give much help when it comes to his profession. I didn’t have any answer, unfortunately. So, I wanna bring this up in here. In case there are others there who are also curious about such apps, it would really be a big help.

Lots of iPad Apps for Teachers
As time goes by and by, many hi-tech gadgets arebeing introduced in our lives and one of this is the iPad.
For your friend the who is a teacher: iPad could be a great help on your teaching techniques. You can do a lot of things with it. Here are some which I can recommend.
First is the Dropbox. In here, you will be able to share your files like your power point presentations, documents and videos which are related to your topic from your desktop at home to your class. In relation with this Dropbox there is also the WinAdmin. The WinAdmin enables you to access your desktop computer at home through your iPad. You can also use your Quick Office HD on your iPad. It’s just like your msword on your PC but its difference is that it is on your iPad and it allows you to open and edit your file on it. GoodReader is also a good app for your iPad. It allows you also to view your files in any format in power point presentation. Of course, exams and quizzes are part of your job. If you’re going give a quiz regarding a certain topic, you can use your US History Quiz AP flash card. It is a set of cards which you can use for the quiz thru your WinAdmin app. It will allow you to project it on your computer by using your iPad. For your Students, if they have iPads too, you might even recommend for them to use Inkling. Inkling gives them a complete list of books which they can purchase and download it. They can also opt to have just a chapter of the book they need it. And the last but not the least among the apps, the Historical Docs and WordPress app. These last two apps can help you to view important documents or the latest article being uploaded and posted in the web. Isn’t it nice that even in school iPad could be a great help? For a teacher like you, those apps can really make life easier. It would help you to get your students attention and have their interest on what you are teaching. It’s not just a gadget to display but also a good source of information. By the way, all of those apps for your iPad mentioned were all available in the web. Some are free and some are not.

Tons of iPad Apps for Teachers
It would be great for all the teachers out there if they owned even just a single app for their iPad that they can be use to improve their teaching. I can say that your friend must have even just the WinAdmin app. It’s good to have, because this WinAdmin could give an exclusive access to your computer at home. Let say for example you forgot to have the copy of your presentation at home, all you have to do if you got this WinAdmin app is to just have a single tap on your iPad screen and you will have an instant presentation. Also, it eliminates the problem of not being able to make some of the documents in your PC to work with the iPad.
