screen protector for iPad    I have just bought my Apple iPad about a week ago. I am planning to use this as an instrument for drawing. I got a stylus pen which has a plastic material for tip. I trust that this will not really scratch the screen of my iPad but just to make sure, I want to do something that will avoid the permanent scratches iPad’s on my screen. I may sound a bit too overprotective about my iPad but honestly, I have not started drawing on it yet because I am too careful about its screen.

What would be the best way to avoid the scratches? To change my stylus to a felt tip one or to put a screen protector on it (I do not know exactly which will protect the screen)?

ZAGG screen protector
I can relate to how protective you want to be with your iPad. I was like that too! I bought my ZAGG Apple iPad screen protector right on the same day that I bought my iPad. I do not want to risk having a scratch that can not be removed from my dearest iPad. That would be annoying!

Anyway, I have been using my screen protector for more than a month now.

Honestly, I heard before that the Apple iPad screen protector peels off easily but so far, it has still remained in tact just like how it was on the first day I placed it on. It is easy to put it on too and you can barely see that there is a clear material covering the screen. Hopefully this too will protect your iPad once you start drawing on it because I do not really use a stylus pen on mine.

Oh, and another thing which I like about having the screen protector is that it can also avoid slips because the screen protector somewhat allows me to have a better grip on my iPad

screen protector plus felt tip stylus Reply to twinkle's post dated 7/28/2010 1:25:18 PM
Screen protector might do the job although I have to say that changing your stylus pen might also avoid the scratches.

There are several other pens in the market now which has like a felt tip on it instead of a plastic-like material. Although, some reviews say that the felt tip ones can not really draw fine lines. Instead, lines come out a bit wide.

I guess you could try out some and see which one will be best for your purpose
