how to switch to different languages
This is funny because I do that too! It’s just that sometimes, I get my share of karma because I am the one who gets confused. Anyhow, here are the steps on how you culd do that with your iPad.
1. Go to ‘Settings’, then to ‘General’, then ‘Keyboard’ and ‘International Keyboard’
2. Choose ‘Add New Keyboard’
3. Select the keyboard to which you prefer to shift to
4. Once your preferred keybord has been activated, you can proceed on changing both the software and hardware layout of the keyboard. To be able to change it, tap the keyboard name.
5. It is possible to install more than one additional keyboard at a single time. If there is more than a single additional keyboard active, you will see that a global icon will be shown next to your space bar. This makes you capable of changing from one to the other.
So far, the only supported languages on the keyboard are the following: English (US), English (UK), Dutch, Flemish, French (European) French (Canadian) German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified) Handwriting, Chinese (Simplified) Pinyin and Russian.
I have to say, although I change languages just for fun, this is a great feature especially iPad is being distributed globally.
