iPad Jailbreak
Jailbreaking is something that a lot of people has been interested in doing to their iPads (well..a lot of people has done this already). I have also received a lot of questions from friends on what this really is. Okay, so I feel that there is something I could share. I am not saying that I am the expert in this but I’ll try to impart what I know. Hopefully, it could help.
Jailbreaking the iPad will let you access the whole filesystem of the iPad. That means that if you do this, you can already install 3rd party apps, modify the current apps and a whole lot of other things.
The common apprehension of some people is if they would be able to revert back to the original settings of their iPad once they have done the jailbreaking. Well, to anser that, yes, it is possible. Jailbreak modified the apps so if you want to undo it, it would only require restoration through iTunes.
When you jailbreak your iPad, you can access the system and do some things that you can not do with its original setting. You can already install 3rd party applications via Cydia and this will be seen on your homescreen. Although, one thing with jailbreak is that some of the other applications might not work but this is not too bad because it will still make your iPad function well. If you decide to jailbreak your iPad though, make sure that you are willing to do some restoration.
As for the other consequences of jailbreak…hmmm… I do not think I am the perfect person for that. I can only go as far as explaining what it is and what it can do. Hope I contributed something useful!
