Attaching additional materials to email from iPad    I have read the techniques on how to post the photos on iPad (really great…thanks for the info…) It reminded me of one query I have been longing to ask…I just could not find the time to try it out on my own. Hopefully I would find the answers here before I get the time to test each…so, my question is: What are the different file types supported by iPad when it comes to attaching them to the emails?

Formats supported by iPad as email attachment
I know that there have been a lot of limitations that users are experiencing when it comes to iPad. Well, in the aspect of emailing, the attachments that are supported by iPad does not exactly have any problems. Here are the formats which you could attach to your emails:

• PDF files
• Word, Excel, and PowerPoint which are from Microsoft Office files
• text files
• URLs
• Pages, Numbers, and Keynote files which are from Apple also
• standard picture are also supported as attachments and the formats included in this are: JPEG, GIF, and TIFF files
• Whenever you receive files from others, you can also open up various audio attachments such as MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF files

Other people are thinking that the audio files sent to them might not be opened but all it takes is a light tapping and the iPad knows how to deal with this. No worries!
